Educational Background

After graduating from Springfield Township High School and Eastern Vocational Technical High School, Mike Thornton started Thornton Carpentry, LLC. He also attended Spring Garden College.

Outside of Work

Mike specializes in doing custom work for local customers. He stays active, volunteering in the community, and enjoys spending time with his family and fishing. Mike is a member of the Rotary Club of Springfield Township, where he regularly gives time to help the less fortunate in local and international projects. He has traveled as far as Belize to help build projects.



As a volunteer Captain with the Flourtown Fire Company, he also sits on its Board of Directors. He not only trains with the company, he regularly oversees the training of other firefighters.
